We don’t follow any particular style.
We are not specialized.
We are curious.

Peter Bohn Architekten is an owner-managed, independent architectural practice dedicated to spatial production on every scale. Their main areas of focus include urban development projects, new housing construction, transportation structures such as train stations and parking garages, and work on existing buildings. At the same time, new fields of expertise continue to emerge. Their interest lies in creating thoughtfully designed and memorable spaces—both in urban planning and architecture—spaces that are emotionally and aesthetically engaging and that people enjoy visiting. They constantly strive for precision and conceptual clarity at every stage.

We consider ourselves committed to public space and, despite all our experience, we approach each new task fundamentally and always with fresh eyes. We strive for the satisfaction of our clients and partners, for ongoing dialogue among everyone involved in the planning process, and we use tools that are always at the cutting edge. BIM? Absolutely! We take on both very large and very small projects, sometimes working on them for years, or occasionally completing them in a rapid burst. From the very start, we have gladly collaborated with artists.

We are probably what conservatives would call progressive, because we believe in human advancement. Conversely, we might be what progressives call conservative: we are reluctant to abandon proven methods. We value deliberation and diligence, systems and principles, structure and order. We hold skepticism—and at times even partial bias in the pursuit of justice—in high esteem. (Thanks to Jörg Scheller for this insight)

Far beyond function, cost, and deadlines, we appreciate and promote planning as a social sculpture—one that fosters a beneficial sense of personal collaboration and mutual support, enduring consensus, and joyful complicity in the task at hand.

Working with us is challenging, rewarding, and always fun.
