The multi-award-winning sports facility (architect Prof. Peter Seifert, 1986) is being comprehensively renovated and expanded by us, brought up to modern energy standards, and completely rebuilt to be barrier-free on all levels. The spirit of showcasing every connection in detail—and the unique atmosphere of the triple-span hall, whose glass openings encircle the sports park and allow its character to be experienced at all times of day and in every season—will be preserved in the transparent extensions, separated by glass joints, in close dialogue with Peter Seifert.
