In close coordination with the client, we developed several proposals for a high-quality development on a centrally located property in Schondorf am Ammersee that is anything but quiet. The classic typology of row houses is reinterpreted here through individual offsets, generous lighting—both from the corners and zenithally—and a „stairway to heaven“ that connects the houses via open levels and galleries, extending from the garden courtyard to the „Juchhe.“
Design featuring exposed concrete and raw aluminum with a greenhouse aesthetic appeals to the sporty sailor who reconciles spaciousness with economy and, in his search for community, is also prepared to embrace a certain ascetic lifestyle.
