As part of our current parking garage planning, we fundamentally explored nature-inspired motifs for the parametric design of expansive parking garage facades. We examined a bird with its plumage, a fish, a snake, and a dragon-like creature with its respective scales—as well as net-like green structures—for their basic applicability, and these studies are providing us with ideas for future projects.
A comprehensive collection of contemporary typologies is available to us for dialogue with our clients and is being prepared for publication. We classify them by materials (such as sheet metal, brick, natural stone, etc.), by expression (for example, “green,” graphic, “camouflage,” etc.), or by specific requirements (such as sound insulation, glare protection, etc.), and we can combine and display a wide variety of options in our database.
