Serving as the southern, direct connection from the restricted level of Fröttmaning U-Bahn station to the terminal/distribution level of the P+R facility—which includes the Fröttmaning bus station in Munich—this 6‑meter-wide, glass-enclosed steel pedestrian bridge is constructed as a suspended cable structure with two 28‑meter-high pylons, featuring spans of 79.2 m and 21.4 m over a total length of 112.8 m. The bridge was built while the technical operations of the Munich U-Bahn were still in progress.

As part of constructing the new stadium station, we extended the existing bridge by an additional span to achieve a total length of 132 m, and directly connected it to the embankment in the Fröttmaning Heath.
