Together with our planning partner OPLA in Augsburg, we have developed a proposal for the further development of an approximately 8-hectare commercial area, formerly part of the textile industry, in a prime peripheral location in Kempten – as a conceivable, long-term vision of the property owner.
The city’s direction is currently undecided; additional commercial areas are still required, and the city deems a coordinated transition in development with the neighboring municipality necessary. These issues are to be discussed in the context of the new preparation of Kempten’s land use plan. The areas we are working on—which also include a considerable proportion of residential construction—will likely flow into the (political) debate on the city’s further development.
