On behalf of ZechBau SE, we developed a proposal for a temporary office and waiting building south of Munich Central Station.
The design proposed a modular construction system that, beyond economic efficiency, aimed to achieve a refined architectural scale and expressive quality. Through numerous 3D and physical concept models, the intention was to significantly exceed Deutsche Bahn’s relatively modest expectations regarding ´beauty` of architectural appearance. Ultimately, however, cost considerations prevailed in the general planner tender process.
