Elevator and Forecourt – Kollerhof
The concept by Peter Bohn was one of layering, aiming for a distinctive presence. The heights and colors of the layers were left to the artist’s discretion.

“The elevator tower in the courtyard connects the underground parking garage with the central plaza and the adjacent access walkways of the residential buildings.
The horizontal stacking of its intense color layers creates the impression of an autonomous object rising from the ground.
The tower becomes a focal point of color and orientation for the new district.
The redesign of the forecourt follows this motif of horizontal color layering.”
